On 17 April 2026, the symposium entitled “European Transformation and
China-Europe Relations amid Global Order Turbulence” was successfully convened.
The event was jointly organized by SIES and the Institute for International
Studies of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), and hosted by the
Division of European Studies of the Institute. More than twenty experts and
scholars from universities and research institutions across Shanghai
